The Four Wines Behind DIEVINO, Explained

The Four Wines Behind DIEVINO, Explained

These are the four wines we chose for a reason

Before putting a wine into DIEVINO, we wanted to understand exactly how it performs. Not only in a general tasting sense, but also analytically.

That is why the four wines selected for DIEVINO were reviewed through laboratory reports in Germany and then interpreted carefully as a set. For us, this was not about making wine feel technical. It was about making sure that every bottle we offer has a clear role, a clear character, and a real reason to be there.

The result is a lineup of four wines that cover very different moments, moods, and preferences, while still feeling coherent together.

Why this mattered to us

DIEVINO is built around a simple idea: one premium wine portion, ready for the moment.

If that is the concept, then the wines inside have to do more than just “work.” They have to feel right immediately. They have to be enjoyable, accessible, well-structured, and distinctive enough that each one brings something different to the experience.

Looking at the wines through laboratory analysis helped us confirm that balance. It gave us a clearer picture of sweetness, acidity, alcohol, freshness, texture, and overall profile. In other words, it helped us understand not just whether these wines are good, but how they are good.

And that matters when you are building a selection people should want to come back to.

Pinot Bianco: fresh, soft, and easy to return to

The Pinot Bianco brings a calm kind of freshness.

With balanced alcohol, gentle acidity, and a soft dry profile with a slight fruity edge, it feels clean and relaxed rather than sharp or aggressive. There is enough structure to give it presence, but it stays easy and approachable from the first sip.

It is the kind of white wine that does not need a special explanation. It simply works. Lightly floral on the nose, clean on the palate, and soft in the way it opens, it feels like a wine people can enjoy naturally and often.

For DIEVINO, that made it an important part of the selection: a white wine that feels fresh, but never nervous.

Moscato Rosa: lively, aromatic, and immediately charming

The Moscato Rosa brings a very different energy to the set.

It is the clearest off-dry wine among the four, with higher residual sugar balanced by bright acidity. That balance is what makes it appealing. It is not just sweet. It is lifted, accessible, and alive.

There is something very direct about it. The aroma profile feels expressive, the palate stays clean, and the slight sweetness makes it especially inviting without becoming heavy. It has the kind of character that can win people over quickly, including those who want something more aromatic and open from the beginning.

In the DIEVINO lineup, it brings brightness and charm. It is the bottle that feels a little more playful, while still staying clean and well-defined.

Primitivo: fuller, warmer, and more structured

Primitivo is the boldest wine in the lineup in terms of strength and presence.

It has the highest alcohol level of the four, but what matters more is how that translates in the glass. It feels fuller, warmer, and broader, yet still controlled. The acidity helps keep it from becoming heavy, and the dry profile gives it shape rather than softness.

There is ripe fruit, a noticeable tannic grip, and a stronger sense of structure overall. That makes it the wine for people who want something with a little more weight behind it.

For DIEVINO, this wine matters because not every moment calls for something light. Sometimes what fits best is a red with more depth, more warmth, and a firmer outline. Primitivo gives the range that dimension.

Sangiovese: balanced, food-friendly, and quietly expressive

The Sangiovese sits in a very attractive place within the lineup.

It is dry, balanced, and fresh, but softer around the edges than the Primitivo. The profile feels round and food-friendly, with enough freshness to stay lively and enough body to remain satisfying. There is also a slightly herbal, savoury side to it, followed by a more subtle fruit character.

What makes it especially appealing is that it does not push too hard in any one direction. It feels composed. That gives it versatility and makes it easy to imagine across many different situations, especially around food.

In the DIEVINO selection, the Sangiovese is the red that brings balance. It has character, but it wears it lightly.

What makes the four wines work together

What we liked most after reviewing the full set was not only the quality of each individual wine, but the way they complement one another.

The Pinot Bianco offers freshness and ease.
The Moscato Rosa brings aroma and openness.
The Primitivo adds depth and warmth.
The Sangiovese brings balance and versatility.

Together, they create a lineup that feels complete without feeling repetitive. Each wine covers a different part of the experience, which is exactly what we wanted for DIEVINO.

We did not want four wines that all say the same thing in slightly different ways. We wanted four wines that each justify their place.

Why this makes us excited for what comes next

For us, these wines are not just product variants. They are the core of the DIEVINO experience.

They are the wines people will open on a train, in a hotel, on a quiet evening, before dinner, with food, with friends, or simply because the moment feels right. That is why choosing them carefully mattered so much.

The laboratory work gave us reassurance. The interpretations gave us clarity. But above all, the wines themselves gave us confidence that the lineup feels right.

And that is what makes us genuinely excited to share them.

Four wines, four different moods, one clear idea

DIEVINO was never meant to offer wine in a random format. It was meant to offer a premium wine moment that feels easy, well considered, and enjoyable from the first sip.

These four Signature wines are a big part of that.

Each one brings its own profile. Each one brings its own mood. And together, they show what DIEVINO is really about: good wine, carefully chosen, ready when the moment calls for it.

Reading the numbers is one thing. Tasting the wines will say even more.
